內 視 鏡 檢 查 及 治 療

腸胃科內視鏡中心位於醫院七樓全層，設有多間治療室。並由經驗豐富的專科醫生及醫護人員主理，配合舒適的環境及有效率的設施，提供全面及優質的內視鏡 服務。使病人得到更安全、舒適、全面、快捷的內視鏡檢查及治療服務。

中心引進最新窄頻光學影像內視鏡 (EVIS EXERA II 180)，可以提高診斷的敏感度，有助及早診斷消化道病源及早期癌症，盡早把握治療時機。

  


由於儀器可以直接切換窄頻模式，能清楚顯示異常血管及細胞之外貌。檢查因此可以更準確。亦可配合內視鏡之無創手術，將早期癌細胞直接切除；在過程中，醫生 只需給予一些鎮靜藥物，便可切除癌細胞，避免傳统剖腹手術的風險及減低住院時間，可說是診斷及治療早期消化道癌症的一大進步。

Endoscopy Centre

Located on the 7th floor, the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Centre is renovated with several procedure rooms, equipped with HDTV images, top-of-the-line endoscopic system (EVIS EXERA II 180), and supported by well-trained endoscopic team members. Its comfortable environment and efficient facilities provide the best and complete endoscopic services to the public including the high demand endoscopic procedures.


For example:

 

The system sets a new standard of excellence for examination and treatment in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. An optical image enhancement technology (Narrow Band Image, NBI) enhances the visibility of vessels and other structures on the mucosal surface. NBI may improve examination efficiency by helping to decrease examination time and reduce unnecessary biopsies.

The new method of therapeutic procedure can remove the cancer cell by Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, to minimize the risk of doing the operation, and shorting the stay in hospital. The patient can be sedated to minimize any discomfort he / she might encounter during the procedure.

胃 內 視 鏡 檢 查

胃內視鏡檢查能正確診斷逆流性食道炎、潰瘍、瘜肉及癌症等。亦可取組織測試幽門螺旋桿菌，更可於發現瘜肉時，即時將瘜肉切除。


Oesophaeal-gastroduodenoscopy

Oesophaeal-gastroduodenoscopy could diagnosis reflux oesophagitis, peptic ulcer, polyp and cancer. Tissue samples can be obtained to test for the presence of H.pylori bacteria. Other therapeutic interventions such as gastric polypectomy can also be preformed.

結 腸 內 視 鏡 檢 查

結腸內視鏡檢查能正確診斷炎症、瘜肉、痔瘡、憩室病及癌症等。更可於發現瘜肉時，即時將瘜肉切除，可避免瘜肉轉化為癌症腫瘤。


Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. It can help to diagnosis of inflammatory bowel diseases, colonic polyp, haemorrhoids, and diverticulosis and colon cancer. During the procedure, the endoscopist can remove polyps to prevent transformation to colon cancer.

逆 行 膽 胰 管 造 影 內 視 鏡

內視鏡逆行膽胰管內視鏡能有有效地診斷及治療肝膽胰系統之疾病，利用十二指腸鏡俗稱膽管鏡，將一支細導管插入膽管或胰管，然後注射顯影劑以觀察膽管或胰管之構造，或放入一些治療用的小器械，以處理膽管或胰管內的病變。包括放置引流管，碎石與取石術，狹窄擴張術等。

這些治療措拖是在完成膽胰管造影術後才可施行。大部分的治療措施需要先經過內視鏡以電刀切開十二指腸乳突後，才可實施。這類治療措施，目前被認為是有效的非開刀之治療方式。


Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is used primarily to diagnose and treat diseases of the hepato- biliary- pancreatic system.

Endoscopists can cannulate the pancreatic duct or bile duct through the opening in the duodenum and perform X-ray imaging. This procedure allows accurate diagnosis of biliary obstruction, acute cholangitis, acute or chronic pancreatitis and post-operative biliary or pancreatic ductal leakage.

The endoscopists can also perform therapeutic procedures using various accessory tools.

膠囊內視鏡檢查

膠囊內視鏡是一部微型照相機，體積小如一般膠囊藥物(11 x 26毫米)。當攝錄膠囊被吞入經過消化道時, 會拍攝內部之情況, 彩色影像會傳送到貼在病人腰腹上的接收器及記錄儀上。

醫生會將攝影記錄進行分析及評估有關消化道(包括小腸)的問題。

膠囊內視鏡檢查能幫助醫生診斷一些反覆或持續性，但用其他診斷方法未能找到原因之症狀，如腹痛、腹瀉、出血或貧血。此方法能幫助評估延伸至其他內視鏡(胃鏡及大腸鏡)不能到達的小腸內。

整個過程需時約八小時。正常情況下，膠囊內視鏡會自然排出體外。

Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscope is a micro camera, which has similar shape of traditional capsule with compact size of 11mm x 26mm. It will pass through patient's digestive system after ingestion.

Colour images are taken and transmitted to a recording device which is attached on the patient's waist. They will be downloaded to computer for diagnosis.

Capsule Endoscopy helps your Doctor determine the cause for recurrent or persistent symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, bleeding or anemia, in some cases where other endoscopic procedure - Gastroscopy or Colonoscopy failed to determine the reason for your symptoms.

The whole procedure takes around 8 hours. The capsule endoscope is disposable and will be excreted naturally.
